Wow does time ever fly. Quite a bit has happened since my last post. Permit for the electric service has been obtained. Construction has started, checks have been written (ouch). Concrete pilings have been poured, forms are still in place. The floir joists/rafters that run the length of the house have been placed and all leveled. Septic system, water storage tanks, and electric all in place. Arrived today via Airgate Aviation from New Smyrna Beach. Very efficient operation. The permitting and application process with Bahamas Electric Corp. was very efficient. So far, all of the administrative details regarding construction in Abaco have been very smooth and easy to accomplish. Very helpful people here.
